The Chamber Music Society of Detroit offers pre-concert events before most of its Signature Series concerts, including informal conversations with the artists, lectures by educators, and occasional recitals and multi-media presentations. *Offered free of charge to ticket-holders, these events are designed to enhance the concert experience and provide insights into the artists’ approach to the music they are performing.

Members of the Juilliard Quartet discuss the evening’s repertoire. Please note the special start time.

David Shifrin and the Dover Quartet discuss the evening’s repertoire.

Steve Wogaman introduces the Chamber Music Society of Detroit’s landmark 75th Anniversary Season.

Members of the Faure Quartett discuss the ensemble’s eclectic repertoire and creative approach to programming, focusing on the pop songs by Peter Gabriel, Steely Dan and Polarkreis 18 on their program
