2019-2020 Wayne State Series

The Chamber Music Society of Detroit continues its partnership with the Wayne State University Department of Music with four concerts in the intimate Schaver Music Recital Hall in WSU’s historic Old Main. We begin in October with the Harlem Quartet performing music by African-American composers. In December, we continue our “Holiday Baroque” tradition for a third season, as Baroque cellist Jaap Ter Linden performs three of J.S. Bach’s Suites for unaccompanied cello. In February we present the Detroit Recital Debut of rising star American violinist Randall Goosby. And in May we present the latest winner of the Cleveland Quartet Award, Canada’s Rolston Quartet.
