Join us for close encounters of the classical kind.

Chamber Music is classical music’s close-up, both physically and emotionally. With smaller groups in more intimate venues, you can see, hear, and feel the passion of artists whose lives are devoted to their craft—and whose music is alive with joy. Chamber Music Detroit is dedicated to bringing this experience to our community.

Move Closer. And Be Moved.

CameraMusic Streams the Festival

Since its founding during the Covid-19 pandemic, CMDetroit’s CameraMusic series has reached an audience of more than 200,000 listeners on six continents, while sharing its online programming capacity with 70 peer organizations across the United States and Canada without a webcasting platform of their own.

This summer, we’re excited to partner with the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival to bring their closing night concert to a streaming device near you! This special collaboration between two of Detroit’s leading chamber music organizations offers a unique opportunity to experience the final performance of Paul Watkins as the Festival’s Artistic Director.
