Our 82nd season concludes with the Juilliard String Quartet in their 31st concert for Chamber Music Detroit - more than any other ensemble in our history. This program pairs two works in memory of the late JSQ violist Roger Tapping - including one by Tapping himself - with the stirring G major string quartet by Franz Schubert - the last of the composer’s 15 string quartets.

As the oldest continuously presenting chamber music organization in Michigan, Chamber Music Detroit is Metro Detroit’s premiere stage for the finest musical chamber performances the world has to offer, as well as treasured home to a devoted family of listeners who love to hear them.  

Chamber Music Detroit’s 82nd season is a series of heroic returns - artists and ensembles with CMDetroit legacies of excellence measured in months, years, or even decades. Whether it’s the second CMDetroit concert by the Relic Ensemble or Israeli Chamber Project, the ninth by the Brentano Quartet, or the 31st by the Juilliard String Quartet, we know that all nine Signature Series concerts of the 2025-26 season have one thing in common: we know they will move us all deeply.  Join us!
